Jupiter in Capricorn combines the expansive qualities of Jupiter with Saturn the planet that rules Capricorn. The energy of expansive Jupiter is really inhibited by Capricorn. Jupiter is at fall here and its the worst place for Jupiter to expend its energy. Since Jupiter is expansion and cap is limitations they constantly work against each other, this a real contradiction in a chart. Jupiter wants to expand and cap does not think they deserve it, they want power, but seldom get it, too much inner conflict over it. They are hard workers but a feeling of not being worthy comes into play here. They hate extravagance and waste and drama. They look for long term value but can tend to be tightwads, this is the guy that has money, but will not turn the a/c on because it is not 90 degrees yet.
